A few days ago, I drove from Mielno to Berlin and was really impressed by the infrastructure improvements on the S6 highway. Seeing the progress personally was quite eye-opening. If everything goes as planned, by the end of 2025 we will drive all the way from Berlin to Gdańsk on a new highway. The S6 will be the “Autoroute du Soleil” for people traveling to the Baltic Coast.

What’s equally exciting is the transformation taking place in Mielno. The main street is being completely renovated, which will give the town a new, modern look. Furthermore, with the EuroVelo 10 route coming through the city center, we may anticipate even more tourists to the area.
All of these improvements are expected to significantly increase tourism along the Baltic coast. Improved infrastructure allows for better access to new seaside resorts that are under construction and cultural attractions that make this region so unique.
