Saint-Gobain Sekurit, a manufacturer of automotive glass and solutions, has leased 21,300 square meters in CTPark Iłowa in Poland’s Lubuskie voivodeship. The company will relocate to the complex’s largest building (110,000 sqm), where it will perform manufacturing and warehouse operations.

CTP is developing CTPark Iowa, which will provide the Polish market with three facilities totaling 170,000 square meters. According to the developer, the project is one of the largest warehouse and industrial parks in the country now under construction. CTP announced in November the commercialization of 40,000 sqm, or the entire building, to which Hermes Group, a European courier service provider, will relocate. Saint-Gobain Sekurit has now joined the list of tenants. Later this year, the company will begin operations in its new premises.

The CTP logistics and industrial park is located about 40 kilometers from the Polish-German border, at the intersection of the international road between Berlin and Wrocaw. The position in the Special Economic Zone offers the highest amount of tax savings in the country to investors.

Lubuskie is a relatively young, but rapidly growing, logistics market in Poland. It is an ideal place for both large corporations and smaller businesses looking to expand or relocate in Central and Eastern Europe.

CTP’s development approach is centered on providing tenants with the opportunity for unrestricted growth, adequate transportation infrastructure, and people resources. The lease agreement with Saint-Gobain Sekurit “confirms that our parks provide an ideal environment for work and business development,” says Bogi Gabrovic, CFO of CTP Poland.

According to Colliers data, the Lubuskie voivodship saw the greatest growth in demand for warehouse investments in Poland in the first half of 2022, leasing more space than in the entire year of 2021. The developer is in the midst of negotiating with other enterprises interested in the complex’s remaining area.

The investment is distinguished by energy-efficient solutions that meet BREEAM certification criteria, bringing tenants closer to cost-effective, long-term building operations. All roofs in CTP investments are prepared for solar panel installation, with skylights covering at least 10% of their area. Ventilation flaps, on the other hand, let in plenty of natural light while also serving as a source of sustainable energy.

The Iłowa facility is still under construction. CTP presently has 450,000 sqm under development in Poland, of which 250,000 will be completed in the following months.
